With more than 15 years of financial, operational and sales experience in both North America and Asia, Lindsay is the ideal bridge for cross border business between the two regions. Her career started in the Los Angeles offices of Ernst & Young as a CPA, where she went on to become the Consulting Division's Regional Head of Mergers & Acquisitions covering Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and the Philippines. While in Hong Kong, Lindsay also took on leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Merrill Lynch prior to founding her own procurement and advisory firm where she assisted foreign companies in successfully acquiring goods and services from the region and brokering Sino-American joint partnerships. She is an active Board member in several diverse groups of companies with international businesses. Lindsay earned her Bachelors of Science degrees in Accounting and Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California and undertook executive management training at the Kellogg's School of Management. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.

Powan (Karen) Liang is Chief Operating Officer of Unilight International. In 2005, she moved from Los Angeles to China to spearhead Unilight International’s operations. Leveraging her more than 20 years of manufacturing and business experience, Powan established and grew UI’s operations from the ground up, achieving double digit growth and a reputation for quality and service excellence that's both admired and envied by many in our industry today. During this process, she oversaw the design and completion of UI’s 35,000 square foot custom manufacturing facility. Previously, Powan had her own successful commercial recycled plastics sourcing and procurement company. She majored in Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
Director of Business Development
Christine Gee brings more than 10 years of business strategy and sales experience to the INLIGHT team. Prior to joining the INLIGHT team, Christine was a co-founder and director of The Silk Road Company Global Limited. In her role as a director of Silk Road, Christine was responsible for identifying and developing key partnerships and business opportunities for the Silk Road partners. Earlier, Christine served as sales manager for Wang & Li Associates and United Colors of Benetton, where she led a team that won the National Sales Award. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles and Clothing from the University of California at Davis. Christine is based in the United States and fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
Director of Business Development
Jerome LeBlanc brings more than 10 years of hands-on experience in custom decorative lighting manufacturing to the INLIGHT team. Prior to joining INLIGHT, Jerome was with Unilight Limited (Montreal) where he worked directly with architects, interior design and lighting design firms, project managers, purchasers and contractors to oversee management of custom lighting projects, from initial concept drawings to design and engineering to fabrication, delivery and installation. Jerome's extensive knowledge of the raw materials, components, fabrication methods and quality control required for custom lighting projects have made him a key contributor in implementing INLIGHT's customer-centric project management process. Jerome earned a degree in commercial photography from Dawson College and a degree in political science from Concordia University.
Director of Design & Engineering
A transplant from Montreal, Canada, Loc Nguyen joined the Unilight International executive team from its inception in 2005 to lead the technical design department. Today, Loc leads a team of more than 12 technical design engineers, turning client design concepts into product realities for our customers worldwide. Prior to joining INLIGHT and UI, Loc spent more than 25 years at Unilight Limited where he was involved in roles ranging from production and assembly on the shop floor to design and supervision on the front end. His North American engineering experience and leadership have been a critical part of imparting an engineering-focused commitment to innovation at INLIGHT and Unilight International.
Senior Product Development Manager
Born and raised in Russia, Andrey Tretyakov brings more than 20 years of product development and industrial design experience to INLIGHT and Unilight International. Prior to joining the INLIGHT and UI team in 2010, he served as a product development manager and conceptual designer for ten years at Unilight Limited. Earlier, Andrey worked as a product designer and engineer in Russia. Andrey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the State University in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, and earned certificates in industrial design from Rosemont Technology Center and CATIA design from Concordia University.
Director of Corporate Communications
E.E. Lukowski brings more than 15 years of international business and strategic communications experience to the INLIGHT team. She has served as a senior advisor and consultant on corporate, marketing and investor communications, strategy and corporate governance issues to a diverse range of companies, from start-ups to pre-IPO, public, and Fortune 500 companies in North America, China, Europe and the Middle East. She has also served as a board member to private companies and non-profit organizations in southern California. E.E. is a graduate of Bard College at Simon’s Rock and SUNY Albany. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in organizational and industrial psychology.
